Project Function: office/studio/mediarnClient company: NCBL Istanbul - News Corp’s Broadcast Lab IstanbulrnrnThe concept was to involve all personnel in the Television experience. The innovation was to have a “Plug and Play” production facility from end to end of all areas of the facility. We aimed blur the boundary between the studio and the office part of the building broadcaster Fox TV. To involve every employee in the dynamic world of television broadcasts and direct-term reports, we designed the interior such a way that any room can be transformed into a studio: the space in front of the camera lens and turned her into a coherent whole.rnIn the interior we avoid sharp corners. Corridors softly bent smooth lines and glass walls which separate offices, bend toward the ceiling. Even the tables have lost the traditional rectangular shape.rn To create an architectural language and design that would not only serve the staff well being, but also be able to be used as a ready set design, for new programming. Most studios are two entities: 1) office block 2) studio Boxesrn Beginning with the Campus entrance as a structured corporate environment, one crosses the threshold into the world of Television, its endless possibilities, coupled with the reporting responsibilities of a FOX news entity, representing the largest Media Company in the world, NEWS Corporation. rn Imagination is a preview of the future, with television being largely 80% imagination & entertainment and the balance of programming to the truth in responsibility of delivering news and information. rn The Fox Television Campus is a melding of the original Ottoman Empire Topkapi “Caique Hani” ( Boat House) with the needs of a modern corporate production facility.rnrnrnrnrnrn
