This is an academic Resort-architecture design proposal developed at Moc Chau, Vietnam. 1. Etymology & Brand Identity The name Cheaven is a symbolic portmanteau blending "Chè" (the Vietnamese word for tea, which also echoes "Cha"—the Japanese word for tea) with "Heaven". This linguistic fusion embodies a serene, elevated sanctuary inspired by nature, where the timeless tradition of tea cultivation meets an ideal environment for rest and contemplation. 2. Core Concept & Vision Conceived as a tranquil escape amidst the rolling tea hills of Moc Chau, Cheaven Resort places the natural environment at the very center of the design narrative. Rooted in ecological preservation and local Northwestern cultural heritage, the project seeks to minimize site impact by integrating architectural volumes gently into the highland topography, allowing built structures to co-exist in harmony with the surrounding tea terraces, seasonal orchards, and native forests. 3. Spatial Experience & Philosophy The resort offers an immersive retreat where guests can disconnect from urban pressures and re-align with natural rhythms. By prioritizing simple, authentic highland experiences—such as walking along contour tea rows, experiencing the changing seasonal blossoms, and gathering by the central lake—the design fosters a deep, sensory connection between people, tea culture, and the landscape.
