Award Ceremony
The international competition - "Architectural Award", initially organized by the magazine "Style", and later jointly with the "Georgian Association of Architects" - is being held for the twentieth time this year!
This year, the magazine "Style" turned 26 years old, and the "Georgian Association of Architects" - 15 years old.
The best projects were identified from about two hundred works submitted in the competition nominations.
The architectural competition was first organized by the magazine "Style" in 2006. Since then, it has been traditionally held every year for professionals working in the field of architecture and interior design, and since 2006, the "Architectural Award" has created a space where architecture, professional opinion and new ideas meet.
For two decades, the competition has brought together architects, designers and professionals from different generations and consistently continues to support architectural culture and professional dialogue. 2006 – 2025 - twenty years, reflected in one story, which combines fragments of award ceremonies of past years - people, projects, meetings and important moments that have gradually created the history of the “Architecture Prize”.
Architecture changes. Ideas develop. Generations change. Professional heritage continues.
In 2026, a new chapter is added to this story. The international competition covers the fields of urban planning, buildings, residential or public space and interior design. The competition has aroused considerable interest and active support from companies associated with the fields of architecture and construction, both in Georgia and internationally. All this determines the perfect and successful alliance between the investor and the architect. From 2006 to the present, about 4,000 architectural works have been entered into the international competition. Over the history of our competition, about 100 companies have supported us.

This year, the twentieth international architectural competition - “Architectural Award 2026” is adorned with a special jury - along with Georgian professionals, architects from different countries of the world - the United States of America, Germany, Great Britain, Australia, Morocco, Nigeria, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan - who are great masters of their craft in architecture, design, urbanism or education.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to each of them. Thank you for completely selflessly and friendlyly supporting us, sharing your precious time, knowledge and unique vision within the framework of the “Architectural Award 2026”. Your support is very important to us. Each member of the community could also evaluate the competition works and express their own views. By comparing these assessments, the best objects in each nomination were selected.
This year, among the works uploaded for the competition in the student nomination, several groups of objects with the same purpose were identified, therefore, the organizing committee of the competition, in accordance with the competition conditions, divided these objects into three nominations and their evaluation was also carried out independently. You can familiarize yourself with all the competition works on the competition website, where the competition projects were evaluated by our site users and a professional jury.

The works were evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Form;
• Function;
• Innovation;
• Conceptuality;
• Synchronization with reality (adaptation).
- The winners of the international competition nominations were awarded the "Architectural Prize 2026".
The members of the organizing committee, in addition to the organizers of the project, are also laureates of international competitions "Architectural Prize".
The composition of the international jury was approved by one of the organizers of the international competition "Architectural Prize 2026" - the Georgian Association of Architects.
The international jury of the "Architectural Prize 2026" selected the best projects from the competition entries. The professional jury members evaluated the objects on a 10-point system.
Finally, one, three and four best objects were selected in each nomination, of which one, the owner of the highest score, was specially noted.
The Association of Architects established
the Honorary Award of the Association. This year, for the thirteenth time, this award was presented to the Honored Architect of Georgia, Ms. Mariam Tsagareli, for her great contribution to the development and popularization of Georgian architecture and fruitful creative work.
The general sponsor of the competition, Caparoli, presented a gift to its chosen nominee. The “Architectural Award” was presented by the company Vinotelsi Wine Boutique. The sponsor companies of the competition - Roniko, Zodi, Orion, Monte Salotti; Max Maram, Mokap Rum, “Greenland” presented gifts to their chosen nominees.
At the end of the award ceremony, after reviewing the results of the international festival and the competition, the international competition - “Architectural Award 2027” was announced.
