Location: Tbilisi
The idea of the project was to create the university complex that will unite all fields of ART. Dance, Music, Theatre, Digital and Contemporary art... (mostly because there are no similar universities in Georgia) The university should be far from noisy and dirty center of the city, have enough space for all faculties and its own infrastructure. I found the ideal place in Tbilisi (Georgia) near to lisi lake. I have marked the territory and made the project for one faculty, the faculty of contemporary arts. rn Inspiration of the form of the building came from the symbol of infinity. Therefore building has six blocks which are connected to each other so that they make a symbol of infinity. Building stands on steel construction columns. Block has a green roof and transparent solar panels, also roofs are used like balcony. Facade is made by perforated panels to make shading in the building. I used Solar Panel Systems (it was conceptual product when I used it in my project) for university parking. Building area is 4140 sq.m. (Nika Ksovreli. 2014.
