Belarus, Minsk. This apartment is located near the city center, adjacent to the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater. It was designed for one person—an adult, independent woman—as a completely self-sufficient space for permanent residence. The layout is functional: an enclosed hallway separates the entry area from the living area; the kitchen and living room are combined into a single space with a dining and sitting area; the study is located behind a separate door; and the bedroom, with a spacious dressing room and built-in closets, is located at the rear of the plan. Natural materials were used in the finishing and furniture: solid wood, natural veneer, diamond-patterned parquet flooring, natural stone, and brass hardware. The stylistic solution is a modern interpretation of American classics, adapted to the urban environment, with an area of 90 m². This is a strict, noble classic without an overload of detail—wall moldings, a restrained neutral palette with precise color accents in two rooms, and a handcrafted bas-relief in the bedroom. The project's name, "Act," reflects the apartment's three-part structure—entryway, common area, and bedroom—echoing the adjacent theater building. The theatrical theme is supported by the figurative content: two paintings by a Belarusian artist from the "Ballet" series and custom ceramics with sculptural female figures. Female figures permeate the entire interior—in the paintings, ceramics, and bas-relief. They are not a literal reference to the client's story, but rather an artistic image that unites the space. "Act" is an interior about movement and pauses, about color and art, about classical details and contemporary forms. It is about a space that does not reveal itself immediately, but invites us to examine it scene by scene. The word "act" also means a complete, independent action, and this is exactly how this interior was conceived: as a complete, finished space for one life.
