The airport is an enterprise that implements transportation of passengers and cargo, and technically it is a living organism and consists of a complex set of engineering and technical equipment. The airport is the largest public building, which is connected with its multifunctionality. The airport is a small town in the city. In this project - the International Airport of Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli, we tried to create modern requirements, architecture, technically equipped ecological building. \r\n This complex includes all the necessary functional areas, which are necessary for correct operation and people’s comfort. The designed building has an entertainment, office, trading, commercial, food and tourist facilities, that allows a passenger to use necessary services without leaving the building, which simplify the daily lives of passengers and saves their time. The airport is considered as a living organism, which is constantly growing and developing. We tried to take into account all the nuances of the complex: the entrance, parking, greening, recreational areas, resting places, energy efficiency, technological processes, bioclimatic factors, orientation, relief, necessary storerooms, etc. In view of the foregoing, the created atmosphere will become a visiting card of the country for tourists, in which a person will have the desire to enter, visit the premises, use various services and create the desire to return to this city. First of all, let\'s look at the way to the complex, which we expanded and the parking (which is divided into different zones), with which the visitor encounters. This makes more comfort for a staff and arrived travellers and others. It is crucial to use renewable energy sources, greening, recreational spaces against the backdrop of environmental problems created in the world. While looking for the shape of the building, we tried to make the right architectural decision, since the area of the project is characterized by winds, inclined forms of the building and the flatness created an aerodynamic of the building. We also used natural aeration to ventilate the building. Maximum use was made of solar energy for lighting the building, heating and cooling, both with the help of the sun and also using smart glasses. Rainwater from the roof is collected in special tanks, which are used for various purposes (irrigation, WC, etc.). \r\n The whole territory of the complex is equipped with a special technology of asphalt covering, which generates electrical energy during the movement of vehicles. Along with the open green space of the building, the recreational spaces inside the building are important too. With the help of these spaces, the additional sun\'s rays get into the interior of the building and create an interesting, comfortable, attractive cosy environment for passengers, guests and staff working there, which has a positive effect their mood and efficiency. \r\nThe above-mentioned solutions make the whole complex as one of the samples of an ecological architecture in our country. the first in our region and in the world where are used modern technological approaches.\r\n
