For collaborative work, the clients proposed their investment project—a studio for short-term rental. All work on the project was conducted online, so we additionally requested detailed information about the building and learned that the studio is located in the heart of the city in a building with a 100-year history. We wanted to create a memorable interior integrated into the style of the house. Despite the fact that the concept was radically different from the clients' initial request, the project was approved on the first try without any revisions. The main requests from the clients were to create an interior with four sleeping places and to use métro tiles, which had already been purchased. Despite the small area of the living room, we managed to place a fold-out sofa and an armchair, creating a unique coziness through a variety of textures. In the dining area, we placed a minimalist concrete table, complemented by chairs of different shapes and textures. The composition is completed by an accent painting on the wall, created by the clients' 11-year-old daughter, Kristina, who was inspired by the works of Makinti Napananga, and a floor lamp from West Elm. The linear layout of the kitchen allowed us to separate the living area with a bar counter. By highlighting a small niche, we created additional space for a double bed. We visually expanded the limited bedroom space with Cole & Son wallpaper featuring an exotic pattern on the ceiling. In the bathroom, we used gray métro tiles, which were available in small quantities from the clients, and complemented them with wallpaper featuring an original pattern from Cole & Son. The floor was decorated with round mosaics. As a result, we managed to create an interior that sets this apartment apart from others on the market.
