Residential interior (realized)
Japandi
Area: 76 m2
Location: Moscow. Russia
The project of an apartment in the center of Moscow is distinguished by an unusual layout solution. It was necessary to place a living room, a master bedroom and 2 isolated children's rooms, having only 3 windows at disposal . The main idea of the project was formed from the resulting transformable space due to sliding partitions and the general theme of the Japandi style. Rooms separated by sliding partitions are one of the characteristic features of a traditional Japanese house, which in turn had a significant influence on the architecture and interiors of functionalism. This prompted the idea to bring unobtrusive "Japaneseness" to the project.
