The core concept behind the Pabellon landscape is a spatial interpretation of the site’s natural and cultural identity—specifically, the Kakhetian vineyard. The project drew its initial inspiration from the sprawling vines and the rhythm of their rows, translating these elements into a distinct, linear spatial structure within the landscape. A key element of the master plan is a straight path that unfolds through the vineyard, gradually leading toward the hotel. This line of movement serves as more than just an access route; it creates a spatial narrative: one transitions gradually from the vineyard, the natural landscape, and the open space into the architectural environment. The perspective along the path intentionally evokes a sense of continuity and infinity, ensuring the hotel is perceived not as an object randomly placed in the landscape, but as the culmination of this spatial journey. Here, the landscape is not treated merely as a decorative layer. Instead, it integrates the hotel, recreational areas, the vineyard, water features, relaxation zones, agritourism functions, and key sightlines into a unified system. The natural terrain of the site, along with views of Ilia Lake, the Alazani Valley, and the Caucasus Mountains, becomes an integral part of the spatial organization. At Pabellon, the landscape extends the architecture outward: the rhythm of the vineyards, the pathways, the terrain, the open spaces, and the vistas create a unified experience in which the natural and agrarian environment of Kakheti becomes an intrinsic part of the hotel's identity.
