A newly established high end juice bar SKA that is about to take a fresh start on Georgian market of Healthy Food and Beverages, has approached SHRE studio with a task to design their first outlet. It struck us a real challenge for a number of reasons. Firstly, There was not much room to spread the wings. Secondly, the budget did not seem very appealing either. Yet, the brief was all about creating spacious atmosphere out of a really small area (65 m²). Ultimately, we were supposed to achieve a touch of luxurious and premium aesthetics with a rather tight budget. However, Challenges are our driving forces.rnrnWe started with planning how to use each square metre wisely. The shape of the space is almost perfect cube (8x8x6 meters). Thus, we came up with the idea to split the entire space horizontally in half and fill the upper piece with the cylindrical forms that would give a dull 2D surface a dynamic 3D touch. rn rnWe think that uniqueness of the ceiling with its hanging 3-meter 90 plastic sewage pipes makes the juice bar absolutely distinct and original. This is how we dealt with the issue of premium look and classy design with the cheapest materials. Moreover, We took those 90 pipes and transformed them into massive spot lightings just by inserting ordinary bulbs inside, that creates immersive lighting contrast and a sense of endless ceiling. rnrnIn addition to that, symmetrical grid shelves on the wall and large brand identity behind it takes the use of space to a next level efficiency and boldness.rnrnHence, once the customer enters the SKA juice bar he or she will most likely be attracted by the enveloping environment and at the same time find a cosy spot to get recharged with healthy and rich juices and smoothies.rn
