Location: Samtredia
The planned stadium in Samtredia is a multifunctional space that combines sports, community, and nature. In addition to its football-related use, the stadium includes public spaces, a sports complex, a café, shopping areas, and recreational zones, making it multifunctional and intended for everyday use. The area can also host international and local cultural and musical events. The project aims to promote the development of football in Georgia. Furthermore, the idea turns the project into a center of urban development for the city, breathing new life into Samtredia. The project site is located at one of the country's most important transportation hubs, which includes significant highways and railways. It is also close to Kutaisi International Airport, making the stadium an ideal location for hosting international matches and cultural events. As for the architectural appearance, the building is divided into two parts: the lower section resembles a grassy hill and harmoniously blends into the natural landscape, while the upper section features a reflective metal facade, giving the building a light and dynamic visual appeal. In front of it is an artificial lake, primarily designed to collect rainwater and supply the drainage system. It improves the microclimate and contributes to biodiversity. However, it also has an aesthetic function, as the water reflects the facade. The parking area is designed for 1000 cars but, with an environmentally friendly approach, it is located away from the stadium.
