Tbilisi square is a main transport hub in Batumi, where central roads cross. Historically this place had form of a square but overtime it formed an intercity station for microbusses. Too much parking of microbusses and cars for people working around caused traffic and safety problems. Complex roundabout with four traffic lights rather dangerous crossing for pedestrians and also for transport. New design brings life to square without too much cars and traffic due to tunnels that goes under the square, where new station is placed with station intercity hub at the ground level. Tbilisi square station hub organises parking of busses, provides modernised ticket offices and information desk for travellers. On the ground floor new design gave us multifuntional space for people to gather or rest at the cafe placed on the other side of the square.
