The Belarusian restaurant “Dziakuj” was created with heart and genuine passion. We wanted the interior to feel like a memory—a living story—and gave every corner its own deeper meaning. Guests are welcomed by the fields and meadows of our country, along with a traditional maljavanka painted carpet. Our ancestors’ connection with nature was central to their way of life, and you can feel it in every detail: the wall bas-relief, the hand-painted furniture, and the wall finishes. The first room, the Gentry Hall, is inspired by the traditional Belarusian home. Straw lampshades and light fixtures feature homespun patterns, alongside Belarusian ornaments, household objects, and a map of the country, where the European bison stands as a symbol of our people’s strength. Storks serve as protective symbols of devotion and freedom. This is a warm, welcoming space for spending time with family. The second room, the Manor Hall, draws inspiration from Slutsk belts, historic castles, and palaces. We were especially captivated by the Bulgakov Palace. Vivid natural motifs imbued with feminine energy, an extraordinary combination of colors, and painted ceilings and walls all come together to create a truly unique atmosphere. The third room, the Hunting Hall, is filled with masculine energy. Hunting was essential to life throughout the ages and held a special place in the daily life of princes. Wood, hunting trophies, and wrought-iron details convey a sense of status and strength. The room is available for private events of any kind. We kept all the furniture, reupholstered it, and gave it a new lease on life in its new setting. The wrought-iron chandeliers are a perfect fit for the Hunting Hall. We also transformed the classic chandeliers in the Manor Hall, updating the old fixtures with lace and new hanging ornaments.
