Mountain Rescue Service Building
Area: 453 m2

Location: Georgia, Kazbegi

Georgia, a country distinguished by its diverse landscapes, is a beloved destination for many tourists and mountaineers. This indicates that the mountains in Georgia have something interesting for everyone. Consequently, tourism in Georgia is a relatively developed sector. For safe movement in the mountains, it is necessary to establish mountain rescue service buildings in the country’s highland regions. These buildings will serve tourists and mountaineers, ensuring their safe movement and monitoring. Due to recent developments in Georgia, the need for such services has become essential across the country’s highland regions. Therefore, the project area will be selected near Mount Kazbek and the Gergeti Trinity Church, known for its harsh and rocky landscape. This area is very popular among tourists and mountaineers, as well as the local population, as it is one of the gathering places for religious rituals. The building is located at an altitude of 3014 meters above sea level, on a rocky terrain. Due to the absence of a road, a small rescue aircraft landing pad is situated at the back of the building. The building includes bedrooms and a kitchen for the permanent staff, as well as an office, a storage room for various equipment, a radio communication room, and a first aid room for injured individuals.
