REPRESENTATION OF IT'S FORMS AND INTEGRATED IDEAS IN THE CONCEPT A Conceptual Project, Design or rather a representation of research, analysis and ideas through forms and shapes of the Library - enclosed building that is buried underground. Well-balanced variable sources of light are meant to create coziness within the library spaces. Villa Adriana's whole complex is the base concept of this library. A design of the library follows the system of the Vila. It is designed to relate with the ruins through scale of its forms and spaces, it follows, and completes the axis of the Adrian's ruins. Unlike other ruins that exist at Villa, this library outlines directly the axis of the remnants of the buildings, by having the entrances planned as corridors that cut the landscape and guide you through darkness towards the center of the building. A building is a cornerstone of two axes. "A man with a book goes towards the light" (Louis Kahn) - Architectural Design of the Building follows the quotation by Louis Kahn who designed library of the Phillips Exeter Academy. The center of this building represents source of the light that guides you through axial entrances. A squared water impluvium in its center mirrors light from the sun and illuminates the white concrete with a play of water reflection, thus creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The square-shaped water impluvium in the center is an interpretation of the circled "water theatre" that has been considered as Hadrian's private studiolli at the villa. The building is not dense with materials, a travertine and white concrete blocks create a nice balance in the interior for a reader to stay and enjoy the environment without any interference from the visiting tourists of Villa.
