**Pulse — Public and Wellness Hub** The project proposes the renovation and adaptive reuse of the former Silk Factory, preserving its historical identity while introducing contemporary architectural interventions and a new public function. The building is transformed into a multifunctional hub that brings together **coworking and office spaces, exhibition areas, lounges, conference rooms, and wellness facilities**. A key feature of the project is its **flexible spatial organization**. Movable partitions in the form of acoustic curtains allow spaces to be easily divided or combined according to different functions and needs, creating an adaptable environment for various activities. **Biophilic design and sustainability** are central to the concept. Vertical gardens and integrated greenery extend throughout the interior, becoming an essential part of the spatial experience. Solar panels and other renewable energy solutions contribute to the building’s energy independence and environmental performance. The project responds to the historical context of the site, extending the wellness and sports identity established by the **Laguna Vere Complex and the Palace of Gymnastics**. This led to the integration of a **rehabilitation and wellness hub** within the project. At the same time, the concept continues the green character of historic **Vere Park** through a series of small courtyards along the street-facing edge of the site. Surrounded by reflecting pools, these spaces provide areas for relaxation, social interaction, and healthy outdoor activities. A multifunctional **exhibition pavilion, pedestrian bridge, and exhibition ramp** runs through the site. Constructed as a landscaped fiber-reinforced concrete structure, it functions as both public circulation and exhibition infrastructure, while also acting as an environmental buffer that helps reduce noise and vibration and contributes to improving local air quality. Ultimately, **Pulse aims to establish a new social identity for the site while preserving its historical memory**. It creates a flexible public environment where work, culture, sport, rehabilitation, leisure, and social interaction coexist, connecting the industrial heritage of the site with the needs of contemporary urban life.
