The project transforms the vertical logic of the Svan tower into a horizontal monolith. The architecture is not a decoration; it is a structural response to the region’s tectonics. The building's rigid, introverted form echoes the “defensive” logic of the Svan tower—acting as a climatic shield against northern winds and becoming an organic extension of the landscape. The layout replicates the organic fabric of a Svan village. The narrow, dynamic interior paths function as “streets,” leading guests toward the central atrium—a modern interpretation of the community’s sacred hearth. The building’s geometry mimics the mountain’s silhouette, creating seamless continuity between the natural and the man-made. The hotel is positioned so that a skier can descend toward the cable car and then, while coming down the mountain, ski directly back home.
