This house was conceived not as an object placed within the landscape, but as a quiet pause in the mountains of Mitarbi. From the beginning, the intention was for the architecture to belong to its surroundings to grow from the slope, the forest, the distant horizon, and the rhythm of the mountain lines rather than stand apart from them. The form follows the terrain with a low, continuous silhouette, while the roof echoes the changing contours of the landscape. Nothing is meant to dominate. The architecture simply traces what is already there. In autumn, the dark timber disappears among the warm colors of the forest. In winter, snow softens every edge and reduces the house to a few quiet lines against the white landscape. Inside, warm light meets the cold at the glass, turning the boundary between shelter and nature into something almost invisible. Here, home begins where architecture stops feeling like an object and becomes part of the place itself. Somewhere in Mitarbi... where architecture follows the lines drawn by nature...
