An apartment for a young, actively working family, who meet only in the evening after a long working day. Home for them is a place where they need to relax and gain strength for a new day. A place where everyone exhales and enjoys communicating with each other, cooks dinner and watches a movie. Everything should be cozy and comfortable for the eyes, without unnecessary details and flashy accents. The customers imagine their interior in a modern style, with elements of minimalism, in pleasant natural shades and light colors. The furniture is simple and not bulky. This place should inspire and relax at the same time, without creating visual noise and a feeling of heaviness. The original layout of the apartment included 2 living rooms. My task is to organize the space ergonomically and divide it into a bedroom, a children's room and a kitchen-living room. To think over a large number of closed storage spaces, a separate bathroom and laundry area, to plan the kitchen space in detail, since the Customer loves to cook and receive guests. This is how the EXHALE project appeared. The main color of the entire space is light gray with a purple tint. It is a neutral background for the complex color of the parquet and active terrazzo tiles. Hidden doors in the color of the walls of a non-standard height visually emphasize and raise the height of the room. Air appears in a small space. Built-in furniture was designed for the same effect, without unnecessary details - cabinets, veneer panels, kitchen. Black matte furniture, window slopes made of black veneer, thin cables in the TV area, laconic legs of the dining group stand out against the background of light shades, but at the same time do not overload the interior due to their modernity and lightness. Part of the living room was taken up by a large wall, which I intentionally highlighted not only with panels of bleached oak veneer, but also with lighting in a single level of interior doors. In the bedroom and bathroom, in addition to dark wood, I added complex pink shades, making the interior more intimate. EXHALE is a place where you want to exhale.
